My beardie(who is one and a half), Shakespeare, keeps trashing his tank everytime we clean it. He throws his food everywhere, knocks everything over, runs through his water and messes it all up the second we put him back in. Is this normal?

Current Mood: worried
Hello! I'm new to the community and new to dragons. I've just adopted a little guy, and I had some questions about eating behavior in youngins.

He (we think it's a "he") is about 6 weeks old. He was eating ravenously yesterday and had quite a few crickets this morning. I've been told to feed them 2-3 times a day with 6-10 crickets per meal. He ate about 7 this morning, but hasn't been interested in eating lunch at all today. Dinner is in an hour or two, and I wonder if he'll want to eat then, too. He has some greens in the cage as well, which...have ended up about the cage, so he at least seems to know they exist, but I can't say that I've seen him eat them.

Do babies tend to be finicy eaters? Or do you think he's having trouble adjusting to his new environment?

Any help would be appreciated ♥
